The Building is “Topped Off”

According to Library Building Project Clerk of the Works, Anne Dodd,

“The second cupola is up on top of the building. Therefore, the building has been topped off. There will be weathervanes on top of them but they will be made from copper, not wood. The skills the Pelcon men possess is remarkable. Compound miters on 8" thick roof panels were required for the panels surrounding the cupolas - trigonometry skills I have not used lately - remarkable. And repeatable, since the cupolas were constructed on the ground, one after the other. BRAVO!!”
